A letter to our families.

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family makes. You are not simply choosing a building or a syllabus; you are choosing the people who will spend a large part of each day with your child, and the environment in which your child will grow in knowledge, confidence and character. I want to thank you for taking the time to learn about Arkaas Vignan School.

At Arkaas, we believe that every child can learn well when they are known, encouraged and taught with care. Our teachers work hard to understand each learner — their strengths, their interests, the places where they hesitate — and to plan lessons that build understanding step by step. We follow the CBSE curriculum with NCERT foundations, but we are equally interested in how children learn: through clear explanation, practice, discussion, application and reflection.

Strong foundations, taught with purpose

The early years and primary grades lay the foundations for everything that follows. We give special attention to reading, writing, speaking and number sense, because children who are fluent in these areas can access every other subject with confidence. In the middle grades, we deepen subject knowledge and encourage students to reason, investigate and explain — the capabilities that the CBSE’s competency-based approach now rightly values.

Our classrooms use interactive panels and digital resources where they genuinely help children understand, and hands-on materials, experiments and projects wherever learning is best done by doing. We would rather a child understands one idea deeply than memorises ten facts they will soon forget.

Character, wellbeing and joy

Academic learning matters, but it is not the whole of education. We want our students to be respectful, curious, responsible and kind. We want them to enjoy sport and movement, to express themselves through art, music, dance and drama, and to discover interests that may stay with them for life. Celebrations such as Vanamahotsav, Hindi Diwas and our skills days are not interruptions to learning; they are learning.

We also take wellbeing and safety seriously. Calm routines, supervised arrivals and dismissals, trained staff and attentive teachers help every child feel secure — and a secure child is ready to learn.

A partnership with you

Children flourish when home and school work together. We will keep you informed about your child’s progress through regular meetings and reports, and our doors are open when you have a concern or an idea. In return, we ask you to support reading and healthy routines at home, to share with us anything that may affect your child’s learning, and to trust us to guide your child with both high expectations and warmth.

Whether you live in Manikonda, Puppalaguda, Alkapur, Neknampur or further afield, I warmly invite you to visit our campus. Walk through our classrooms, meet our teachers and watch our children at work.
