Plan for understanding
Lessons start from clear learning goals and build step by step, with worked examples before independent practice.

Our teachers are the heart of Arkaas Vignan School — subject specialists and caring mentors who plan every lesson around how children actually learn.

Every teacher at Arkaas brings two kinds of expertise. The first is a deep understanding of their subject and the CBSE curriculum: what children need to know, the order in which ideas build, and the misconceptions that commonly get in the way.
The second is an understanding of children — how attention works at different ages, how confidence grows, and how to encourage a hesitant learner without lowering expectations. We recruit for both, and we develop both through ongoing training.
Our teachers hold relevant academic and teaching qualifications as expected for CBSE schools, and early years staff are chosen for their warmth, patience and understanding of how young children learn through play.
These are the practices we look for during lesson observations and support through training.

“Why?”, “How do you know?” and “Can you show another way?” push children to reason and explain.
Quick checks — mini whiteboards, exit tickets, oral questions — reveal who needs help before moving on.
Feedback tells children specifically what to improve and gives them time to act on it.
Pair talk, cold-calling kindly and varied tasks make sure every child participates, not just the confident few.
Teachers share progress, concerns and successes with families through meetings, diaries and reports.
