Creative thinking
Imagining alternatives and trying new ideas.

Art, music, dance and drama give children new ways to think, feel and communicate — and the confidence to stand up in front of an audience.

Children explore colour, line, shape and texture through drawing, painting, collage, clay and craft. Older students study artists and techniques and create art connected to topics in science, history and literature.

From nursery rhymes to patriotic songs and group choirs, music builds listening, memory, language and teamwork. Children learn rhythm, pitch and simple percussion.

Folk, classical-inspired and contemporary dance help children develop coordination, rhythm, cultural understanding and joy in performing together.

Role play, storytelling, recitation, skits and debates build vocabulary, empathy and presentation skills — in English, Hindi and Telugu.
At many schools, the same small group of children perform at every event. We make a deliberate effort to rotate roles, so that every child gets the chance to speak at an assembly, perform in a group item or present their art.
For shy children especially, a small, well-rehearsed moment on stage can be a turning point in confidence.
